What a Capiznon Blogger Think About “Kiko”
This Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 blog is too young and in my time on the cyberspace, one buzz that shocks me and I did not let go the chance to say something about this is about the death of the master rapper of the Philippines, Kiko or mostly known as Francis M. I already know that he got leukemia and been reading a lot about it for several months but I am not expecting that he’ll pass away as early as this time. I am honestly sad about it and it is simply because I am one those who likes his music. I am actually waiting for him to recover and perform with the Eraseheads but it doesn’t seem that will not be possible. Some of the songs that I love is his old song “Cold Summer Nights”, “Mga Kababayan” and other songs.
Rest in Piece Kiko
However, his song will stay in the hearts of the Filipino and I think a lot of Capiznon rappers should look up to the work of Kiko. His work possessed values and attitudes of love of country and the people that every youth should be bear in mind. Ka Kiko we will really miss you and your inspiration will not be forgotten.
