I am really impressed with things that are made with great patience and artistry that’s why I am really eager to collect things that are made by hand and by mechanical means. Imagine, like those small weave of designs from the carpets or rugs that are called braided rugs. See how the strand cross with each other to form a great dust buster and room designer that brings color to every homes in the world.

Handmade rugs and braided rugs are what I prefer for my room. In office or even at home. I believe that this are worth more than it really cost as the people behind it really devise something to form such artistic decor for the floors of our home. Aside from that jute and sisal which all came from plants are used for this and think of this, these plants undergo a certain procedure that will also take time before it can form into strand as raw material of the braided rugs. See how this complex these area rugs are but how it makes a simpler life.

Aside from next week’s Miss Universe 2009 that I have mentioned on my previous post, one event that I am eager to watch is the fight of two great fighters of the boxing world. I am referring to the upcoming match Malignaggi vs. Diaz on HBO BAD or Boxing After Dark which is set to be held on Toyota Center in Houston Texas this coming Saturday, August 22 next week. It will be a mind blowing boxing history in the making for both fighters as they face each other and challenges on the way.

Honestly, my interest on boxing all started when I seen some greatest fights  of Pacquiao which made me to track a lot of fights lately, from the upcoming match of Mayweather and to his match on November with Cotto. What I like the most is how the sportsmanship is shown after the fight, hand shaking and hugging despite being beaten by strong punches.

Miss Universe 2009 is one of the most prestigious event of the year when it came to beauty and poise competition. It is more than that don’t you know? Through this, a lot of cultures are discovered from different part of the country. Camaraderie, unity and peace are developed during the event as each participants developed friendship with each other. Aside from that new kind of beauty and brains are discovered in the process.

I love to watch such event as I want to see my very own country being promoted through this kind of event. I will definite watch the Miss Universe 2009 this coming August 23. It seems that they will air it live on ABS-CBN and NBC on cable televisions. It is one of the prestigious event that every TV fanatics and goers that shouldn’t miss.
