Well, aside from the highly anticipated match of the Filipino champion, Manny Pacquiao, there’s an event that you shouldn’t not miss. I am referring to the boxing event that will be held in Las Vegas this coming February 13. It is dubbed as Pinoy Power 3 wherein pinoy boxers will be dueling Puerto Rico and Mexico’s bes fighter.

The main event of the said boxing showdown will be a fight between Nonito Donaire and Gerson Guerrero depending Donaire’s WBA interim super flyweight championship belt. On the other, 5 Filipinos will also fight the event which includes our very own, Gerry Peñalosa and Bernabe Concepcion.

A lot of people in my place is saying that the Pacquiao vs Clottey “The Event” match is not that really popular. Since Clottey is just a replacement opponent for Pacman and this made them think that Clottey will surely be beaten easily the the Filipino champ. Actually its not, these two fighters have equal edge in this kind of fight. Pacquiao is not superman as Clottey is saying that he can’t be beaten. With great practice and training he will surely beat down him.

However, still some people believe that Clottey should have avoided him and he should have fight Mayweather. Actually all of this, the Clottey vs Pacquiao showdown happened just because Mayweather dock and avoided fighting the people’s champ.

As I have noticed on the recent news regarding this upcoming fight set on March 13, 2010, the bout seems to be accepted by a lot of boxing fans around the globe. The evidences show on the press conference and tours of the two and thousands have attended it.

This only mean that “sikat ang pinoy!”

Upcoming Mosley vs Berto Fight

It is reported that Floyd Mayweather Jr. might fight Shane Mosley later for his planned fight on March 13, 2010. Shane Mosley will be fighting Andre Berto this coming coming January 30, for WBA-WBC welterweight unification match. In case that Mosley wins this fight, the option for Mayweather vs. Mosley is highly possible.

The Mosley vs Berto fight is a highly anticipated match as both fighters are known to have the same fighting style and speed. The advantage of Berto is that he is younger than Mosley. He even compared to be the younger version of the veteran boxer.

If Mayweather vs Mosley happens then will be seeing a nice fight and I hope Mosley stops the flying mouth of Mr. Floyd to stop him from crying out loud about his undefeated record!

Despite the fact that a lot of people see Pinoy differently, I could still shout and said that I am proud to be 100% pinoy. I know that I am not as tall as other foreigners out there nor as pale as others skin has, still my blood as a Filipino made me to be happy that I am.

That is why I salute those people who have tried their best to give honor to the country. Like Pacquiao, Charice, Ariel Pineda, Apple de App and other who have been popular (sikat ang pinoy!)

That is why this 2010, I will be doing my best to be part of the great change in the country. I will be one of those who will bring change to the nation by casting my votes in the election. Choosing the right leader for my country.

It is a news portal written in Tagalog or Filipino containing things about the different traditions, traits and life of different kinds of good pinoys around the globe. I previously announced the first release of sikat ang pinoy laganap website on my personal blog and as I said on my post, it is supposedly a multi-contributor but since the holiday is coming and everyone is almost in vacation and in hectic schedules in finishing their reports and other stuff left behind the other month, this will be more focused on the 1st month of 2010. I think this will b e a good period to start the news portal in full.

I hope that I will be successful with this one. By the way, one of the banner I put on the site is a call for help for victims of typhoon Ondoy. It is part of the first mission of the portal. I hope it could gain some audience so that many people will be helped.

Its about time that Manny Pacquiao agree in fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. I think he deserve respects and since Mayweather can’t recognize his skills, he needs to show it to this undefeated boxer who just come back from the early retirement. A lot of people wants this Pacquiao vs. Mayweather match and even me and my oes tsetnoc group are doing their best to be updated with the latest news of the fight.

As of today, they’ve given the boxing fans around the world a date but no place yet to hold the fight. The date is March 13, 2010 and even though Freddie Roach dont’ agree with this considered to be an early fight for the Pacman, still the fighter Pacquiao agreed to fight.

More and more trash talks from the camp of the US fighter while Pacquiao just smile back to them.
